World Traveler: Temple Day :D

Happy birthday Saz!!!

T5B: 1) I got to go to the temple!!! :D 2) I got to visit Akihabara. 3) Jerod and I watched some Whose Line. 4) We got dinner at a Chinese restaurant and it was really good. 5) Jerod bought me a GORGEOUS and extremely expensive fan!

Morning:
- woke up early, had to charge my phone (so I could find the temple), watched some Whose Line in the meantime
- I got ready and went to the temple
- the temple was really easy to find (thank goodness)
- the next session was two hours from when I got there, so I opted to do sealings
- I asked the temple worker where to find some cool souvenirs, he gave me weird directions and I found the Swiss embassy and a Lamborghini dealership!
- asked clerks where to go and they said Akihabara (I wanted to find a fan for myself)
- went to Akihabara and found some cool stuff, but not a fan (not an awesome one)

Notes: I'm SOOOOO glad I got to go to the temple. I used to go every week when I was at home and now it's been almost a year since I went. That was a really hard adjustment to make. So glad I was able to go today! And that a nice member took a picture for me. :)

Afternoon:
- got back to the hotel and needed to rest
- watched some Whose Line with Jerod (he wandered around Taito while I was in Hiroo and Akihabara)
- we talked and hung out - I gave him two smalls things I found for him

Notes: The afternoon was nice - a recovery time from all the walking earlier.

Evening:
- I found a fan shop, I bought myself a cheap-ish fan that I liked fairly well then Jerod asked me which fan I liked best, I pointed one out and he bought it for me! (It's SUPER expensive and gorgeous!- DAH! I just remembered I get to see my family in 11 days!!! :D!!!)
- we went out to eat
- we played some phone games
- made plan with Saz for tomorrow as she got sick today (poor thing! it's her birthday!)
- signed up for the jacuzzi again and hurrah as I am stiff and sore and can't wait!

Notes: It's so nice to be caught up! Sorry it took me so long - and sorry if I'm spotty the next few days. I've still got a "sleeping in a strange place" thing going on and I'm sleeping so-so. Plus we have big plans to see all kinds of cool stuff tomorrow with Saz and I may be too tired to write! However, I will eventually catch up if I get behind. I can't wait to see and show you more cool stuff! :D XOXO, A

Blast from the past: One of the last times I was able to go to the temple in Utah I was .. not feeling well that day. I was doing sealing and kneeling down and between couples, I told them, "I feel dizzy." They told me I was absolutely green. After that I couldn't seem to get any air. I went to be a proxy daughter and it's a much shorter ceremony but I could hear rushing in my ear and my vision went black and the sealer goes, "She's not going to make it!" And some guys rushed over and stood me up and I couldn't see or hear. I told them that. It was crazy! Fun though. (At least now I can say it was fun.)

story from today: So Jerod and I were playing a Jeopardy game on my phone while I was typing this. He was reading the questions out loud and together we would answer. One question he just started answering without giving me an opportunity to answer so I asked him what it was. As he typed, he told me the question and ended up tying, "Ivan the Siberia." (Instead of Ivan the Terrible.) We laughed about that pretty hard. Good times.
