Kakunodate & Iwate Koen (Castle Ruin Park)

T5B: 1) Jerod and I were able to have fun and see some things in Kakunodate even though all the samurai houses were closed. (:c) 2) Jerod and I were able to walk around Morioka. 3) Jerod helped me box up a few things to give away so I have started towards moving! 4) We got some really good senbei in Kakunodate. 5) Oikawa-sensei confirmed with me and he is going to show Jerod and me around Hiraizumi! :D!!!

basal temp: 36.36

Morning:
- got ready for the day
- went by the dry cleaners, it would be $70 to clean my kimono so we passed for now
- went to the bank
- dropped off my kimono at home
- went by the office to drop off receipts
- went to the train station and caught a train to kakunodate

Notes: Pictures to come soon re: Kakunodate and Iwate Koen (I don't have enough data to load them all yet)

Afternoon:
- walked around Kakunodate in a small blizzard
- found out all the samurai houses were closed :c
- went to a museum
- came back to Morioka
- biked to the park
- walked around the park
- went home

Notes: Like I said, pictures to come!

Evening:
- ate some food
- watched some Hannibal
- boxed some things up to give away
- I took down all the wall hangings, folded all my clothing nicely
- played games on our phones

Notes: Sorry this is sort of a lame sum-up. I wanted to do like I did in the summer and post the day in pictures - has to wait til Sunday though. Sorry! Hope you all had a fun day. XOXO, A
