Sansa Take Two

I'm not at quadruple the views from my last blog and only 68% of the posts! It's so crazy to me! Thank you readers! :D Makes me feel loved.

Insect count: Giant spider outside my window that isn't inside but makes me nervous. :/ I don't want to sleep by a giant spider. -- If he stays outside though... that will help. Aah! I'm so jumpy now. Dang it!

T5B: 1) I got to dance again and it was a blast. 2) One of my students saw me and came up to me and said hello. 3) One of the teachers at Morioka Minami saw me and took a picture with me. :D 4) I got to spend most of the day lying down (and that's a huge blessing because my cramps were killer). 5) One guy in my group wanted to take a picture with me! (A Japanese guy -- I'll explain below why this was a blessing.)

Today started out ok. I woke up in a lot of pain, unfortunately. So I didn't get as much sleep as I was hoping. However, my tylenol kicked in pretty quickly. The girls went to do laundry at a laundromat because of the cost of water, the size of my washer and lack of space to hang their clothes. I had planned on going with them, but luckily I was able to stay back and just lie down. I got caught up on my blog. YAY! That made me happy. By the time the girls got back, I was in MAJOR pain. So they went to get Amber alone (which was actually a great blessing for me too. I was able to stay lying down). Then I remembered I was doing Sansa! I don't know how I had forgotten that. I had ample time, though, to make sure that I had all the stuff I needed for the show. I was determined not to be overheated BEFORE we even started (like yesterday). I also wanted to change Donut's water since his tank had random stuff in it from when I had tried to feed him (before I had the right food). Luckily Tara was able to give me some good tips and he seems to be doing just fine. :)

When the girls got back, I was in MAJOR pain. I was trying to wait for my tylenol to kick in, but I ended up just going since I was already late anyway (but this time I knew it was ok to be a little late). I went down about ten minutes late and got ready all by myself. :) I dressed myself completely and felt so proud and in so much pain. The obi is supposed to be so tight you can't breathe well. Well, considering my cramps, I eased up a little there. It still felt awfully tight though. But hey, I made it! So, the reason I said that guy wanting to take a picture with me was such a blessing is that this girl in the group from the US decided she hates me and made it very obvious she was snubbing me. She kept sneering at me and if I walked anywhere near here she would quickly hurry away from that area like I carried some contagious disease. I don't know WHY she's treating me that way, but it really hurt my feelings. The Japanese people were really confused about what was going on and this girl speaks Japanese and I don't so I don't know if she said anything about me. It was especially hard to deal with on my period, but I just don't know what her problem was and why she was being so cruel to me. It made for an uncomfortable hour before we went on. Sheesh. Once we got rolling, I was better able to ignore my pain. It was hard to focus though so I messed up a lot more tonight than I did last night. I still had a blast. :) A lot of my coworkers (from Interac) were there. One of my students came up and said hi to me. :D And a teacher from Morioka Minami saw me and took a picture with me. :) It was a fun night in spite of the wench. The girls stayed for a little bit of the dancing tonight. :) Then I went back, changed, said goodbye to Miyuki, and headed home. When I got home I realized I didn't have enough vinegar for my shower. So out I went to get it. I was frustrated because I was overheated and super crampy, but it was fine. I got the stuff I needed, came home. And showered ASAP (had to wait for Amber to get out of the bathroom). I also told the girls if they showered everyday (as is their plan), I would need them to help me with my water bill. -- Which I will! They said ok (thank goodness) and ya. I showered. I feel much more human. And there is a scary monster outside my window that I want to go away. Hope you have a great Saturday! XOXO, A
