Why is the worst sleep on the weekends!?

T5B: 1) I'm hoping that giving Donut some time in the sun will make him feel better (he hasn't really been eating the last week. It's really depressing for me). 2) I didn't have to work today. 3) I watched some Gintama. 4) I read a little bit. 5) I got my grocery shopping done (forgot two things though :/).

basal temp: 36.57

Morning:
- my STUPID phone would NOT let me sleep!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME I fell back asleep my stupid app would wake me back up!! I was so furious when I finally got out of bed.
- played some games
- read (tried to calm down)
- ate breakfast

Notes: --

Afternoon:
- showered
- ate lunch
- bought groceries
- read some more

Notes: Forgot two things at the grocery store :( (English muffins and gum)

Evening:
- felt disgusting
- really awful pain and nausea
- panic about working tomorrow
- tummy troubles
- realization that tmw is when my period should start :<
- so much exhaustion I want to cry (have cried several times this evening)

Notes: Tonight has just been bad. I have been retaining water (read: feeling fat - hence the selfies I took to try and boost my confidence), breaking out (sigh), and just feeling the usual pain and nausea but it's worse this evening than it was throughout the day. I'm glad I have a shortened work week. (Next week is a long work week as I will be working Saturday.) I'm seriously worried about a lot of things and I can't distance myself when I feel this emotional. I don't understand why I have to feel crappy physically and emotionally on my period. WHY!? Did God think women would never get pregnant unless they got the relief of escaping the hell of menstruation!? (Sorry, I've had so little sleep and I'm in so much pain and I just want to FEEL BETTER. I need a hug from my Maman. Every period at home when I was at the worst I would cry and my mom would just hug me and I NEED that. I've missed out on it WAY too much already.) I hope you are all doing well. Let me try to think of a funny story (even to retell) so my blog isn't all negative today...

Ok I've got one! So, yesterday when I went to go to church, I walked out and my bike was on the ground. The wind was so strong it blew it over. It seriously messed up my umbrella (which had been out there drying) though I mostly bent it back. Here I was thinking I was the only one that had suffered in the strong winds. However, pedaling to church I saw ROWS of bikes all lying on the ground. It was like a bike holocaust! THEN, on fb, one of my coworkers posts, "Great weekend hanging out with [names of other coworkers]! All good until the wind blew the door off my car." o.0 <--- I still feel that way. LOL Poor guy! AHAHAHA. It's like that joke Bill Engvall tells about airplanes (he doesn't like planes). He says an airline gave an excuse for their door falling off, "A bird hit it." His response: "I'd like to see the bird that can knock a door off a jet liner! I thought they were extinct!" So here's to pterodactyl winds and a small reason to be grateful I don't have a car off which the doors could be blown. :D XOXO, A

Donut in the sun - hope he starts eating again soon :(

  1. Sorry your day was so awful! I, too, wish I were there to give you a big hug and rub your back. Your "selfies" look really beautiful! You are such a lovely and wonderful person. I'm proud to be your mom. I laughed at the bike holocaust and felt the same 0.o about the car door. Seriously? Was his door that fragile? I remember on my mission, when we were in So France, we had to deal with the seasonal mistral winds. We'd be riding between buildings just fine, then when we reached a cross street (where the wind blew freely) we'd get pushed half way across the street. Ha ha ha! Be careful. I love you!

    1. Thank you Maman! I've ridden in medium strong winds and it was a chore to pedal against it (like weights pulling me back) so I can't imagine a hard wind! Love you!

  2. Looking at your Japanese for the Day comment... "How long will you be ready?" Does that mean that readiness has an expiration? Or does it mean "WHEN will you be ready?" or "HOW LONG until you are ready?" ?? I'm confused....
