Oh! I forgot to mention when it happened - on December 19 & 3/4 (so during the day on the 20th), I reached 3/4 of a year! It's INSANE to me. As of today I've been here for 290 days. STRAIGHT! Whoa...
Morning:
- I was woken up by a phone call (sigh)
- I got ready fairly quickly
- church was ok, I was seriously stressed and had a hard time listening :/
- I learned some new things about Joseph Fielding Smith
Notes: Today was just traumatic for me. My period made everything so impossibly grave! (Sorry for the TMI) I'm glad I got to go to church though.
Afternoon:
- had tithing settlement
- met with Shiwa-k for a few minutes
- had choir practice (that went fairly well :) )
- found out my cord was not in my bag :c got to skype my mom for two minutes
- had to wait until my ride was finished at church (I was going nuts)
Notes: Sorry I didn't get to finish talking to you mom! I hope your Sabbath day is incredible. Please know I'm thinking of you and pray for you always!
Evening:
- made myself some dinner (did I tell you about shopping yesterday? I ended up with cheese, a cheese noodle dish [not mac n cheese], cheese crackers, and hamburger patties filled with cheese... I think my body is telling me something -- I AM CHEESE DEPRIVED!)
- was able to talk to Jerod some more
- I read a little
- did some origami
- turned off my water
Notes: I wish you all could hear and know all the wonderful things Jerod has said to me. He's so amazing and I'm so grateful to have him in my life. He is so service-minded and eager to help those around him. He tells me about building his testimony and the things he's reading in the scriptures. The most wonderful thing (for me) is how he almost daily tells me the ways that he has been inspired. He listens for the Spirit and then follows it. Yesterday or the day before yesterday I messaged him because I hadn't heard from him in a bit and he responded, "I'm reading to get the spirit." Carry on then. :) I feel so incredibly blessed to have such a dedicated man who loves me so dearly. He promised to have more patience with me, and he has. Sometimes I expect things to be the way they were, and I am typically disappointed. Jerod has continually risen above and beyond and strives daily to show me his love. I just hope that I too am able to communicate and show my own love for him. I also hope that all of you have someone who thinks of you, prays for you, and inspires you to be better. My love to you all, XOXO, A
Dang it! My glove got in the way and I didn't see it - but look! Takamatsunoike FROZEN! The whole thing is ICE! |
Nice ice lake. Just don't try skating on it. You've had enough mishaps since you've been there!! Thank you again for your kindness. I wish we could have talked longer, but then again, I was not in the best of moods, so it's probably a good thing we only had a few minutes. You are such a blessing in my life. I'm very happy that things are working out for you and Jerod. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI'm still sorry I missed that time with you. And NO WORRIES. I will not put one foot.... dang it! Now I wanna try stepping out onto the ice... ;)
