Just another manic Monday

T5B: 1) I didn't end up being needed at the office. 2) I got to talk to Jerod. 3) My tooth pain is being handled. 4) Going to the dentist was much less expensive than expected. 5) They do appointments for dentistry!

Morning:
- woke up far too early (80%)
- just felt down and out
- laid on a heating pad
- talked to Jerod
- got several calls from the office (luckily didn't need to go in - esp since I wasn't dressed yet when they called!)

Afternoon:
- the office scheduled a dental appointment for me (I asked a while ago)
- showered
- cleaned my kitchen
- ate some lunch
- did some origami
- went to the dentist office (appt @ 1630)

Notes: I was told the dentist's office was a whole 200 m from me. That meant NOTHING to me. Sorry I'm from America where we shun systems that make sense. :D In any case, it's less than half a block from my house! -- Oh also the office told me not to worry about that money yet (although in the meantime the due date for my credit card payment came and went, oh well). They said that the post office wasn't even open last week. If the money isn't in the US a week from now, they said they would help me figure out what was going on. Oh and like I said, I was released from office duty. The girl who wanted me to help her is not going to be in the office so I am only working Wednesday and Saturday this week! YAY! Also Monday is a holiday. So I will return to teaching a week from tomorrow. I'm glad I have some extra time before then. I'm feeling very stressed and very tense, tired, in pain.... blech.

Evening:
- was at the dentist office for two hours :/
- accidentally wore my outside shoes inside :c
- understood VERY little of what the dentist said to me
- paid
- came home and ate dinner
- played guitar
- watched a movie and did some more origami (I now have all the second graders/juniors done!!!)

Notes: So... ya I know I'm not supposed to have cold drinks. (Dame! Forbidden!) And I asked about a mouth guard because I grind my teeth at night and had to throw away my mouth guard that I brought. The doctor said I could buy one there. Then the front desk girl said they don't sell them. SOMEONE IS LYING TO ME! It was really frustrating and my jaw has been ACHING and my chipped teeth have become hypersensitive (the reason I went in). In any case, they put some coating on the sensitive spots and I'm to go in on the 24th for another layer. The whole visit, luckily, only cost me a little over $20. And though YES I had an appointment and YES I had to wait an hour and a half before I was seen, it was only two hours. So far my doctor visits have been from 4-6.5 hours. So yay for "only" two hours.
