Migraine Day

T5B: 1) I finished my book. 2) I got to finally eat when I got home! 3) I got a blessing from the elders. 4) Church was nice. 5) I got a ride to and from church (it snowed all day).

basal: 36.02

Morning:
- woke up very early (didn't get enough sleep)
- showered, got ready
- Fumie-shimai picked me up (an hour early)
- attended a baptism
- church was nice (mixed sacrament meeting then in Sunday School we talked about Moses 1 & Abraham 3)

Note: --

Afternoon:
- after church they had this huge presentation so I cancelled choir (they took our choir time)
- I skype my family for almost 2.5 hours! I got to talk to Jean-Mi a bunch and that was really fun :)
- read a little bit while waiting for the elders
- found out the elders had taken off after their meetings (the sisters called them and they came back, thank goodness)
- got a blessing for the rest of the school year
- got to message Jerod
- Fumie-s finally finished with her meetings (we were at the church from 855-1640)
- I got a ride home (thank goodness - the snow is freezing and deep out there! And I found out the coldest month is Feb. :/ Happy birthday?)
- made some quick food when I got home

Notes: --

Evening:
- got to message Jerod a little more
- made more substantial food and then ended up overeating :/ oops
- finished my book
- started another one
- played a little guitar (I'm trying to form a habit!)

Notes: Today was COLD!! I'm glad I got to talk to my family. Jerod and I weren't able to connect a lot today which was sad for me. I got to talk to Dre just a little bit this morning. I feel like I wasn't able to do much because I was sort of stuck at church all day. At least I brought a book! As my title says, this has been a migraine day. I believe it has been brought on by lack of sleep. Anyway, the meetings were great and so was seeing my family. Enjoy your respective Sabbaths! XOXO, A

Funny story brought to you by the webs:
I'm a preschool teacher, so I'm not sure if any stories I have would count as students saying "dumb" things, but I found this exchange hilarious nonetheless.
Student A: I can spell my mom's name! Me: Oh yeah? How do you spell it? Student A: M-O-M Student B: That's how you spell MY mom's name, too!

For dinner I made garlic rice and melted some cheese on top - it sounded great and it tasted great but I shouldn't have finished it off!
My sleep for the week

  2. Hey! We missed you over the holiday's! I hope you had a nice Christmas. Thank you for those japanese fans!! The kids LOVED them (I have to use past tense because they loved them a little too roughly ;)). But seriously, they didn't leave their hands for about a week straight!
