basal temp: 36.18
Morning:
- I had crazy Walking Dead type dreams (almost nightmares - definitely stressful)
- I spaced and had to eat my breakfast cold (not so good, lol)
- I was early to my bus (walked quickly)
- got to message Dre :)
1st - I got to listen to and give feedback for the hs students' presentations (in English)
2nd - prepped for my lessons (made copies, etc)
3rd - taught my elem kids, gracious I love them
4th - I fixed two worksheets (that teacher who kept me late yesterday)
Notes: My elem kids are SO cute. I love them so much. They were hanging onto my arms when class was over because they didn't want it to end. :,) Awww Today they got to make dice as part of the lesson and I made the "who" dice and tried to copy my "everyone." Well, my "v" wasn't precise. So she wrote, "eyeryone." I tried to show her the "v" but then she corrected to "exeryone" and "everyobe." I let it slide. She knew what she meant. No worries. Y cut the tabs off the dice (that make it easier to put together - or where you put the glue)... LOL I laughed so hard. I told him to leave them and he cut them off. I told him it was ok. You shoulda seen when it came time to taping it together... poor guy! LOL Then A remade the "when" (time) dice. She wrote: in 0 seconds, in 0 seconds, in 1 seconds (sic), in 2 seconds, in 0.1 seconds. Funny girl. Pretty much insured (ensured?) everyone one would lose each roll. LOL
Afternoon:
5th - taught my hs students, they made me laugh (tough lesson)
- chatted a bit with Kawai-sensei
- ran to the bank
- read for a bit when I got home
- went to my hair appointment
- translated cooking instructions (from French to English) for my hair stylist
Notes: I've been thinking for about a month about cutting my hair. The thoughts were persistent (though I think something's wrong with my survival mechanism as it's freezing) so I went for it. I talked to maybe three people about it (to test the waters), everyone seemed to be onboard. I've since heard from the office girls and Limor that this length really suits me. :) I am donating my hair to locks of love (again). It's a good excuse for a change. :) I get to serve and restart the growth process. Glad I didn't go SUPER short (though that was an option). -- Also my lesson that was tough to teach? It was on superstitions and proverbs. A little tough to explain!
Evening:
- went to the office to finish some more errands
- went home
- read a little
- Limor called (about 3 hours ... )
- updated my blog :)
Notes: Still having massive pain :/ and today my coughing is bad the tensing in my abdomen is pressing that painful area so hard that I see spots. I am NOT happy about this condition! I also have a fever. However, I plan on relaxing all of tomorrow. I need to work for an hour (at Zenrinkan) and run a couple errands, but then I'm good! :) Have a wonderful Friday!! XOXO, A
And end of year gift from Kawai-sensei (anko - delicious!) |
