Thanksgiving (clever title, applause!)

T5B: 1) My lessons went really well today! 2) One of my classes was cancelled so I had a lighter load. 3) I got to message Jerod more today. 4) I had Thanksgiving in Japan! 5) I am (tentatively) ready for tomorrow! I have my materials and my plan - I just don't FEEL ready. I was told TODAY about a change in the lesson plan for the one lesson I actually had ready. :/ *sigh*

Morning:
- woke up exhausted :/
1st - taught 1.5, went very well
2nd - taught 1.1, went very well
3rd-4th - worked on my lesson plans for tomorrow, corrected worksheets

Afternoon:
- lunch was good (and I got to eat it on time AND I was starving!)
5th - taught 2.2, went very well
- the other classes were cancelled, so cleaning time then more prep time
- hit a wall in my prep and killed time for a bit til I left (SOOOO exhausted)

Notes: DAH! One kid mimicked me today ... but it was so wrong when he did it! Made me blush which made me frustrated because it increases the chance that it will happen again! On a better note, one girl, M, told me she is going to bring me a present from Kyoto (they have a class trip next week). I said, "Honto!? (Really!?)" She replied in the affirmative and I thanked her. I don't know if she actually will (as some of my students at Walden told me they got me a Christmas gift but they never materialized - no biggie), but I thought it was very sweet that she thinks of me. :) If nothing else, she likes me enough to TELL me she'll get me a present. She's a cute girl! :)

Evening:
- cleaned a couple last minute things
- had Thanksgiving with the elders and sisters :)
