Dizzy Day

T5B: 1) The dizziness has dissipated. 2) My lessons went well. 3) I am ready for my lessons tomorrow. (I'm not happy with one of the lessons, but I didn't have much time to prepare it. :c I had to throw things together last minute - literally racing the clock.) 4) I only threw up once today. 5) I made my bus! I also got to talk to Dre and Jerod!

basal temp: 36.61

Morning:
- I struggle and I almost missed my bus
1st - prep
2nd - taught a lesson, went well (1.1)
3rd - taught a lesson, went well (1.5)
4th - worked FRANTICALLY on a worksheet for tomorrow (found out 11 am)

Notes: So, this morning I was woken before my alarm by my sleep app. It told me I had far too little sleep. (Yes app, I know I'm sleep deprived. I'm a day or two short of the hallucination stage :/.) Anyway, as soon as my main alarm went off (15 minutes later), the room started spinning. And I mean, like I was on a merry-go-round spinning. I closed my eyes, that made it worse. So I opened them but still the room is revolving around my head. "Well," my sleep deprived brain thought, "I bet it will help if I sit up." I sit up. Then I throw up: stomach bile, right into my lap. That's why I had to run to catch my bus. I didn't schedule time this morning to barf nor to clean up said barf. *sigh* I, for obvious reasons, had trouble eating anything for breakfast (luckily I had a little packet of saltimes left) and my dizziness was still present (though to a much lesser degree) while I was at the school. The bus ride was sort of rough for me too. My students made a three foot PURPOSEFUL no man's zone around me. One girl went to sit by me, and another grabbed her arm and told her to sit elsewhere (far away from me). It really hurt my feelings. What have I done on the bus to be treated like a pariah by my own students? Or at least by that one girl. And the girl who was moved, I know her! I know her name and I taught her today. :/ I tried to remember they're teenagers and I'm sleep deprived. It was a crappy morning.

Afternoon:
- lunch was good (had to eat in a rush)
5th - taught a class, went well (2.1)
6th - taught a class, went well (2.2)
- frantically corrected worksheets so my students could study them for exams next week

Notes: In 2.2 this one kid, D, got sort of attacked. We were playing hide and seek with prepositions and he said the pen was IN him. I kept trying to correct him. In the meantime, though D was like, "No touching!" this kid grabbed him and started trying to find this pencil. It was ... slightly uncomfortable to watch for me. The other students got a HUGE kick out of it. So long as everyone's happy and I don't get in trouble, all is well.

Evening:
- bus ride home was nice - but I was slightly paranoid (story below)
- bought a new bus card
- Jerod is back in CA and I got to chat with him for a long while tonight :)
- I printed out my worksheets for tomorrow
- ate dinner that didn't want to stay down :/

Notes: So, my bus story. This happened yesterday. I got on the bus and I have my lunch tupperware and my water bottle. It wasn't until I was home for a little while last night that I realized I couldn't find my tupperware. I checked everywhere. I didn't remember taking it on the bus and I didn't remember taking it off. But I checked this morning: not at my desk. AARRGGHH! Oops. I USED to have just enough tupperware that I didn't have to do dishes until the weekend. *sigh* Oh well. Hope you all hang onto your tupperwares! XOXO, A
