basal temp: 36.35
Morning:
- slow to get ready because I'm so tired
1st-2nd - prepped like CRAZY
3rd - taught a lesson on Día de los Muertos (jhs, elem)
4th - taught a lesson on passive voice (hs)
Notes: The students seemed to really like my lessons today. :) Kanako-s brought chips and salsa for the kids to try and one boy, who's quite the actor/ham, ran around like his mouth was on fire (because it was "spicy"). They were given hardly ANY salsa and they barely touched it. LOL So I asked the students if I could drink their salsa. They scoffed at me, then I drank it. Their faces: 0.o Thas how I (and my Maman) roll!
Afternoon:
5th - taught the same lesson I taught for the other jhs students, went really well
- ran to the bank after I got home
- biked straight to the church after that
- watched The Testaments with the sisters :)
Notes: My lessons went so well today (just needed to say that again). One girl kept complimenting me on my Día de los Muertos mask. :)
Evening:
- got to talk to Jerod (he makes me so happy! I feel so blessed!)
- rode home
- ate some dinner
- ran to the grocery store
- packed for going to Shizukuishi tomorrow (actually I'm about to do that now -- but when you read this, I'll have done it!)
Notes: Here's to hoping the weekend isn't TOO vigorous - I'm already exhausted! Sheesh. My best to you all! XOXO, A
It's getting hard to keep my ring on between my weight loss and the cold! |
Outside after school |
Jerod said I look tired - I am! LOL |
Kouyou (leaves changing) in Morioka - so gorgeous! |
I wore two jackets when I went to get my groceries! |
So cold! I've got a rosy nose and cheeks! |
1. Cool looking money! 2. Try wrapping your ring (the part that is next to your palm) with yarn or string. That's how we did it in high school and it works. Better than losing your ring!! 3. Maybe some yoga exercises will help you sleep. You know, relieve some of your stress so you can relax. Get rid of the cortisol in your system. 4. Yep, drink that salsa!!! *slurp* I'm still worried about you, but it looks like things are getting a little better. If you have to skip church tomorrow and sleep all day, you might have to do that. I love you.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing my best Maman. I'm not sure against what I'm fighting - illness, stress, maybe both...
