Monday comes round again

Today was ok. I almost missed my bus because I forgot my phone and had to go back for it (I can't get any lesson plans done without it as it is my Internet source. So I had adrenaline and stress and was trembling for the first hour or so at work. I worked on lesson plans (still have two to finish by Wednesday, ick), did some grading, and looked a fool in front of the BoE. *sigh* The class that I taught and in which I was observed, I've taught TWICE. It hasn't been enough for me to gauge their level of English. So the activity I prepared was too hard and they floundered BIG TIME. I cheerfully pressed on but I felt like crying. It's the worst lesson I've taught and it was observed. *sighs again* Oh well. It's over now.

(I forgot to mention, I had nightmares all night. Dislike.)

In any case, my first two classes went fairly poorly but the third was good. I got some grading done and then realized I totally spaced a lesson for Wednesday so I will be lugging my laptop to work again tomorrow. The day was humid hut nice and overcast/rainy. So I'm very grateful for that. I'm also grateful I get to go home now and just rest my brain!

Another good thing from today: 2 classes latched onto me saying "yessss!" And kept saying it all class. I'll take it! Love it! Hope you all have or had a great day! Xoxo, A

  1. Ugh, I know that feeling of messing up when you're being observed, bleh.

I've really enjoyed reading about your teaching; students are the same everywhere sometimes haha. This is the last week of school for my students and I.

    1. (Dah! I responded to this before and don't know what happened to it!) Will you go back? Did they extend a contract to you? And I read on fb what that mom said to you! You are awesome!
