blast from the past:  This is a story I posted on my other blog four years ago when Jerod and I first met and I thought of it tonight. Such a GREAT story:

I was talking to Jerod on the phone one night and mentioned Crocodile Dundee and asked if he'd seen it. "Crocodile Dundee?" He asked, "Never heard of it." (This was before I could recognize his dry humor.) So I told him there was this one great part where the guy brought a Donk, blah, blah, blah. To which he says, with a perfect Australian accent,
"-I've been looking for Walter Reilly. Haven't seen him around, have you?
-You shoulda brought a gun instead of a beer, mate.
-Nah, I don't need one. I've got a Donk.
-Got a what?
-A Donk!"

Yep, totally showed me up  - and tricked me! LOL Me after he did that: .... Great night!

Forgot to post this yesterday - came home to treats and this sign that says "Love you!"
These were the cookies (that did NOT smell like cookies - I was worried what they were for a bit, lol)
The low down on the Japanese traditions
Going out for groceries (was VERY cold)
Shortly after I arrived
Acerola cherry drink I found and got (it's very good!)
My birthday presents!
One of the caramel wafers - yummy! (Sorry, I'm just being a show-off!)
